I was in-play betting watching the Sweden v Greece game on Freeview and found that the Freeview transmissions are 4 seconds behind what Befair are seeing.

How do I now this ? The Betfair market was suspended 4 seconds before I saw Sweden score, indicating that the man at Betfair with the suspend button was watching transmissions 4 seconds ahead of me.

If you also add the 5 seconds in-play bet placement delay, it means that if you are watching the match on freeview and place a bet, your bet will be placed a total of 9 seconds behind the current state of play.

This is the same for all freeview channels, your best bet is to have another tv watching the game on analogue, that way you will be up to date with them

I was going to test that out next, only trouble is analogue is being depreciated. What we need is someone at the game on a mobile ;o) to beat the rest.
